Oskar is a rescue kitten with the softest fur and the sweetest spirit. Life hasn’t always been easy for this little guy, so he approaches the world with caution and curiosity.
Oskar is a shy and sensitive boy who takes his time getting to know new people and surroundings. But for those who wait patiently and offer him gentle kindness, Oskar has a beautiful reward: his full, purry affection.
The world can feel like a big and noisy place to Oskar, so he finds comfort in quiet spaces where he can retreat and recharge. He thrives in calm environments and needs a home where he can come out of his shell in his own time, without pressure or loud distractions.
Once he feels safe and secure, Oskar’s true personality starts to shine. He’s playful, affectionate, and even a little bit cheeky—showing off his funny side with sneak-attacks on toys and joyful little zoomies. His foster carer says he’s a total sweetheart who just needs the right person to help him feel safe and loved.
Oskar has been living with a gentle German shepherd in foster care and would be happy to share his home with a calm, cat-friendly dog. However, he prefers to be the only feline in the house and is not suited to living with other cats.
Due to his timid nature, Oskar isn’t the right fit for a family with small children, but he would thrive with caring adults or older teens who understand his need for space and patience.
Oskar is ready to blossom in a quiet, loving forever home. If you're looking for a gentle, affectionate companion who will form a deep bond with you over time, please consider this lovely boy.

Adoption details
HOW TO ADOPT FROM US:
1. Email dandycatrescue@yahoo.com and request an adoption form to be sent to you, fill it out and return it to us. We’ll be in touch!
2. If your application is successful, we’ll make arrangements for you to visit our cats and kittens at our foster carer’s home.
3. We ask that you pay the nominated fee to us via online bank deposit either at the adoption day or at the home visit (preferred), or in cash. We do not accept eftpos, credit or debit card transactions at this stage.
4. You will be provided with a folder of paperwork for your new kitty upon adoption. Your adoption fee includes a Central Animal Records Change of Ownership that is completed by us online two weeks after the adoption.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
The rescue group has removed this pet and it is no longer available for adoption.
