Perfectly suited for an active home, Skipper is eager to find a family who can offer him the training and affection he deserves.
Skipper's days are filled with boundless enthusiasm, whether he's zooming around with his chew toys, exploring new places on walks, or settling in for a snuggly cuddle. He's particularly fond of soft snuggle toys, which he loves to nibble on during naps, adding a touch of "aww" to every snooze. While he loves to play and run, Skipper also cherishes his quiet moments, happily curling up next to loved ones for a bit of downtime. As a social butterfly, Skipper gets along famously with children and other dogs, although his playful energy means he's best suited for homes where he’s guided patiently through learning maneuvers around little ones.
For Skipper, the perfect home would be one with a large, fenced yard that provides plenty of space for him to play and explore safely. His new family should be prepared to continue his training in a loving and consistent manner, focusing on basic commands and polite greetings. He responds well to positive reinforcement and will thrive with someone dedicated to his growth and socialization. Skipper is well-behaved indoors, toilet trained, and uses a dog door, but he will need gentle reinforcement to understand boundaries with furniture.

Adoption Criteria
Skipper would love a doggy BFF friend who loves to play games especially “ Tag your It “
A med to large size yard that has secure fencing and room to run and play
Children in the home are fine but as he can get initially excited to meet and greet his people we would be seeking mature dog savvy age children
We have not tested him with cats
A home that will allow him to be inside when the family are home as he really wants to be a part of his family
A home that will continue to work on his basic training and walk him daily as he loves getting out and about
