Max is a sweet and affectionate gentleman with a big heart and a playful spirit. He thrives on positive, respectful interactions and is looking for a home where he'll be given the space and choice to build trust at his own pace.

While Max isn't a fan of being picked up or having his feet handled, he shows his love in other wonderful ways and bonds deeply with those who respect his boundaries. He absolutely lives for squeaky toys and would love an active home where playtime is part of the daily routine.

Max can be a little jumpy when excited and may dart toward open doors, so he'll need a home where entrances and exits are carefully supervised. He would do best with older children who understand and respect a dog's body language and space.

One of Max's greatest joys is the company of other dogs-he's very dog-social and would thrive in a home with a friendly, playful canine companion.
