🖤 Meet Ebony – Your Velcro Shadow & Cuddle Queen 👑
If you’ve ever wanted a dog who would quite literally hug you back, Ebony is your girl. This wee Staffy x Lab sweetheart is equal parts sass, snuggle, and soul, and she’s ready to wrap her paws (and her heart) around her forever human.
Ebony is:
✨ Affectionate to the core – she doesn’t just like cuddles, she demands them. Front paws around your neck kind of cuddles.
🐾 A loyal little shadow – she adores her person and will do anything to make you proud
😇 Soft, sensitive, and sweet – a gentle girl who looks to her human for guidance when the world feels big
🐕 Great with other dogs, cats, and people – she’s cruisy and calm with company, and totally unbothered by most things
🏠 Crate trained and settles well – although she’d rather be worn like a baby 24/7 😅
She may be a bit shy in new environments, but with patience and a gentle, trusted guide, Ebony will follow you anywhere – tail wagging and eyes full of love. She thrives on praise, melts for a “good girl,” and struts like a superstar when she knows she’s nailed it.
Honestly? She’s so lovely her foster carer’s already half in love with her. Don’t let them keep her first 😉

-You have a yard with grass (no units or town houses)
-You have a patio or pergola (trees aren't shade enough from a storm)
-You have secure fencing

Adoption details
*Please only apply if you reside 4hrs from Shepparton
* You will have a list of questions sent that you need to answer and send back.
* (For dog applications) Photos are requested of your yard, the fencing and any undercover shelter areas (patio/pergola) that must be sent through along with answers to questions.
* It’s not first in best dressed and we pride ourselves in finding the perfect family home for the animals in our care and make sure each family finds the perfect animal as well.
* We feed our cats on Lifewise, bags are available to buy from us.
* We also offer a 2 week trial on all animals that are adopted from this rescue organisation, if returned during this time a refund less 10% is given.
* Meet and greets are always taken prior to adoption, on the day if all goes well and you are happy, you can adopt on the spot and take your animal home to begin the next chapter together. We don't offer more than 1 meet and greet.
*All animals listed on our petrescue page are available for adoption until the moment they are removed

The site is ran by volunteers who also have work commitments and families of their own.
