Shylo - 1 Year Old American Staffy X

Meet Shylo! A 1 year old friendly, affectionate Staffy who loves being around people and other dogs. He’s full of love and life, and is happiest when surrounded by his people or a canine buddy, or both!

Shylo is a smart boy who knows several commands, including sit, down, stay, paw, rollover, and come. He is still practicing his recall and will thrive with ongoing training, continuing to become the best boy!

He’s very well housetrained and has lived in an apartment before, though he’s now enjoying the space of a yard.

Since moving out of apartment living, Shylo is still getting used to the many sounds and sights of the outside world. He loves going for walks and car rides, though he can get excited around other dogs! He is learning not to pull on lead which is improving now he has mastered using a Halti on walks.

A secure, fenced yard is important for him, as he enjoys zooming around and playing with his toys—especially his spiky ball, chew bone, and a good game of tug-of-war.

Shylo would thrive in a home where his humans are around more often than not and he doesn’t like being left alone. He can live happily as the only dog or with a friendly canine companion. He sleeps indoors beside his foster carers in his own bed and loves his cuddles and pats and he won’t object to some couch time either.

Shylo is in foster care in Mayfield East, NSW. His adoption fee is $600. He is desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas, ticks and worms, microchipped and lifetime registered.
