About Betty
Meet Betty, a charming Kelpie mix with a gentle personality and a heart full of love. At 2 years old, Betty is the epitome of poise and grace. She walks beautifully on a lead, exhibiting perfect heel and impeccable recall. Her innate ability to adapt and learn makes her a joy to be around for both humans and fellow canines alike.
This social butterfly thrives on companionship and is disinterested in cats, making her the ideal dog for families with a mix of animals. Despite being a bit shy and anxious at first, Betty's confidence blooms with time and forms a special bond with those around her. Her only quirk is a slight tendency to bark when left alone, but once she's reassured, she quickly settles into her calm and sweet demeanor.
Betty would be a delightful addition to an active family, particularly one with children over the age of five. Whether it's accompanying you on family hikes or enjoying a relaxing day in the backyard, Betty is always ready to be by your side.
If you're looking for a loyal companion with a beautiful personality and a dash of elegance, Betty could be your perfect match!

Adoption details
Our adoption process is easy. You will receive a application for the animals you are interested in. Please full that in and send it back to us.
Even though you may be first to message, this does not always guarantee you will be chosen to adopt. By no means do we run on a "first in, first served basis". We aim to ensure that our animals are adopted into the most suitable home for them and the new family.
With all our animals, we go on what our vet has told us and what we believe the breed and age to be. We never guarantee the breed or age but take the best educated guess.
Please note: Our shelter is located in the Snowy Mountains. We are a 5 hour drive from Sydney and Melbourne and 2 to 3 hours from Canberra.
