Affectionate lady!
- Hi, I'm Cutie and boy, does that name suit me! I'm 8 years old and my breed is Japanese Bobtail. I have the cutest little fluffy tail that I wag like a dog and the curliest fur on my belly and inside my legs.
- I am unsure of new people at first but it only took me a few days to trust and come out of my shell with my foster carers. Now I rule the house with confidence!
- I'm an affectionate girl with gorgeous green eyes. I love being pet especially when my carers scratch the sides of my head and rub their hands along my back to the tip of my little tail or scratch/rub the base of my tail. I like being brushed too!
- I like sitting on the couch watching TV with my carers or on their lap, as well as on a comfy bed on my carers desk in her office and keeping her company when she's working. I also use my cat tower and sleep on my carers bed at night. I like sitting by windows and watching the world go by.
- I like being picked up, cuddled and kissed on the top of my head. Sometimes I push my head into my carers face for kisses and caresses which they say is really cute!
- I like to play with toys and especially a peacock feather when my carer waves it in front of me - it's game on!
- I have a great appetite and talk to my carers when I'm hungry as they're getting my food ready. I love munching on crunchy treats and cat grass too! My carers say the various sounds I make are really funny and cute!
- My carers say I am no trouble at all and they love having me in their home. I clean myself regularly and litter trained.
- I have been out in the backyard on a harness that I don't mind wearing. It is believed I was allowed outside in my previous home but I've adapted well to being inside in foster care where I am safer.
- I require a quiet home where I will have time to settle in, gain your trust and have a nice comfy spot to chill. My ideal home is one with a single person or couple with no children or other pets so I can enjoy all your company to myself!

Our adoption process includes a two-week trial period to ensure you and your adopted pet are the right fit.
The adoption fee includes desexing, vaccinations, microchip (including transfer of ownership), flea and worm treatment and vet check.
SAFE Busselton requests that all persons adopting a cat adhere to responsible containment practices. As per the current Cat Laws in WA we encourage people to keep their rescued cat as a permanent indoor cat or with access to a safe cat run. It is no longer desirable to allow your cat to wander onto adjoining properties. Confident cats can also be trained to walk on a harness and lead. We ask that owners be responsible and keep their adopted cat safe at all times so that you will have a long and loving life together. Information on cat enclosures can be found here: https://safe.org.au/catios
SAFE Busselton reserves the right to select adoptive homes based on “best fit” for the pet. Although all applications will be considered, being the first application will not necessarily provide an advantage as the adoption committee considers many factors when matching animals to their new home.
