Just look at that face. Tongue out. Eyes wide. A look that says, “I might be plotting something adorable.” This is Sprite —the silver tabby sensation with a mysterious past and a very bright (and slightly dramatic) future.
Once found wandering the streets like a tiny furry outlaw, Sprite was rescued by his foster carer and is now embracing the good life—complete with comfy beds, snack breaks, and plenty of sunbathing.
He may start off a little shy, but once he warms up, Sprite’s personality _pops_ like a fizzy drink:
🐟 Food Enthusiast & Alarm Clock – He’ll generously remind you when it’s mealtime… with full-volume commentary.
🐾 Toy Trainee – He’s learning the art of play from his foster siblings and loves to sneak attack when you least expect it.
🌞 Sunbathing Pro – Sprite will chase every sunbeam like it owes him rent.
🐕 Dog Friendly – With slow intros, Sprite gets along just fine with polite puppers.
😼 Cat Friendly - Sprite would do well in a home with another cat to keep him company and further bring him out of his shell
💖 Purring Extraordinaire – This boy purrs like a tractor. Even a glance can trigger his happy motor.
😼 Almost Snuggler – Not a full-time lap cat (yet), but he’s on a journey—and your lap might be the final destination.
Sprite is looking for a patient and loving forever home where he can continue to grow, play, and sunbathe in peace—with a few mealtime conversations along the way.

Adoption details
Adopting with Kittie Kat Rescue Inc.
Bringing a new pet into your home is a long-term commitment—both emotionally and financially. Cats can live 15 to 20 years, so it's essential that all family members are prepared to provide love, shelter, and a safe environment for their lifetime. This includes premium nutrition, regular veterinary care, and ensuring they are kept indoors only or have access to a secure, cat-proof outdoor enclosure.
Our Adoption Process
Initial Contact & Questionnaire
We’ll start by sending you our adoption questionnaire via email or text message. This helps us understand your home environment and what you're looking for in a feline companion.
Video Tour
We will require a video tour of your home, focusing on safety features such as secure screens on windows, doors and balconies. Plus, we’d love to see where your new kitty will be set up in their new home!
Meet & Greet with the Foster Carer
Once your application is complete and approved, we’ll arrange a time for you to meet the cat with their foster carer.
Adoption & Bringing Your Cat Home
In some cases, if your application is approved and the cat has completed all their vet work, they can go home with you straight after the meet and greet! Adoption paperwork will follow.
Settling-In Period & Adoption Finalisation
Every adoption includes a two-week settling-in period from the time of adoption. If, for any reason, your new cat isn’t the right fit for your home, you can return them within this period for a 50% refund of the adoption fee.
All of our cats come microchipped, desexed, with one or more vaccinations, and will be lifetime registered. Depending on their age, kittens may need their second (and potentially third) vaccination undertaken by the adopter after adoption. The transfer of ownership is completed as soon as possible.
