- Hi, I’m Rex! A sociable, playful boy who’ll become your little shadow.
- I have a great temperament for children – energetic, love to play, and know not to use my claws, but still learning not to nibble!
- I’m extremely sociable with strangers, inquisitive and playful around dogs and stoic around vacuum cleaners.
- I love to be by my carers side while they work (I’ll sleep in my bed, soak up the sun or chitter to the birds outside).
- While I will be very respectful of your work/life schedule during the day, I would appreciate you indulging my zoomies each night by chasing me or playing with me and my toys.
- I’m polite around food and I prefer human options (raw and cooked mince, tuna, salmon, scrambled eggs, lamb or beef) and love a fresh bowl of water.
- I love sleeping with my carers and will patiently wait for them to wake up.

Our adoption process includes a two-week trial period to ensure you and your adopted pet are the right fit.

The adoption fee includes 2 vaccinations, desex, microchip (including transfer of ownership), flea and worm treatment and vet check.

SAFE Busselton requests that all persons adopting a cat adhere to responsible containment practices. As per the current Cat Laws in WA we encourage people to keep their rescued cat as a permanent indoor cat or with access to a safe cat run. It is no longer desirable to allow your cat to wander onto adjoining properties. Confident cats can also be trained to walk on a harness and lead. We ask that owners be responsible and keep their adopted cat safe at all times so that you will have a long and loving life together. SAFE Busselton reserves the right to select adoptive homes based on “best fit” for the pet. Although all applications will be considered, being the first application will not necessarily provide an advantage as the adoption committee considers many factors when matching animals to their new home.
