Nature
Emmy is a gorgeous panther girl who was initially very timid when she first arrived in foster care. She has blossomed while in care and would love to find her furr-ever home! She is sleek back with a small white tuft on her chest and has the softest coat.

Emmy will wrap herself around your legs while she is waiting for her food and demand pets while she eats. She is still quite shy and reacts to noise but will come out soon enough for more pets. She loves to sit at the window watching the world go by. Emmy will meow and purr for pets and scritches and especially loves to visit you while you're lying in bed so she can get her love fix.

She has been quietly learning the 'lap' part of being a kitty but hasn't quite mastered it yet, though she's getting brave enough to wander onto her foster mums legs and lap by herself for scritches. Emmy also will allow her Foster Mum to pick her up for a quick cuddle and smooch.

Companions (Children, Cats & Dogs)
Emmy would be better suited to a calm, quiet home. She did not enjoy the meetings with the medium sized humans (she ran from their fast movements) so a more mature home would be preferred.

Emmy has had interactions with the two male cats in her foster home and they have been positive, if a bit quiet and shy at first. She would do well with having an easygoing kitty companion.

Emmy has made friends with the large resident dog and loves to snuggle with him while the humans sleep so if you have a calm doggo who wants a soft, purring panther best friend, she's your girl!

Likes / Dislikes
Emmy enjoys her food and is comfortable letting her Foster Mum give her butt scritches while she eats (in fact, she enjoys company while she is having her meals). She loves tube treats, cat grass and catnip toys. She likes to play with kitten wands, balls, strings etc. She loves being outside in the cat run, where she can run and play in the grass and sand and get some fresh air.

Emmy dislikes fast movements, too many loud noises at one time, being held for too long.

My PURR-fect home would be quiet and calm, so I can continue to come out of my shell. I’ve met humans of all different sizes, and as long as they don’t move too fast and let me approach them, they’re fine in my book. I would love a sunny spot to relax and watch the world go by, and as a bonus, a cat enclosure would be fabulous - I love to play in the sand and grass!

Perth Rescue Angels recommends all cats are indoor only, unless they have access to a secure cat enclosure.

If you would like to apply to adopt Emmy, please come and meet her at PETStock Port Kennedy this Saturday from 10am until 2pm. She will be ready to go home with the first suitable family.
