Nature
Murphy is a gorgeous tuxedo boy who would love a cosy window to watch the day go by. He is still a bit timid, but he’s chill and happy to go with the flow. He enjoys the occasional pat and being picked up by his Foster Mum for a quick cuddle and smooch. He loves to lay on the bed while his foster mum reads or has dinner, which he will happily share if it contains chicken - though he prefers it placed down rather than taken from your hand. Murphy’s favourite spots are the cat tower hammock and window beds, where he can poke his head over and watch the chaos and shenanigans of his foster home.

Murphy has made fantastic progress with all the humans in his foster home and is now ready to find his fur-ever home, where he can be showered with love - and chicken. Could that be with you?

Companions (Children, Cats & Dogs)
Murphy has met some medium-sized humans in his foster home and is tolerant and welcoming of a pat or two. He would be best suited to a calm home with cat-savvy children.

Murphy has shared his foster home with his siblings, many smaller fosters, and two male adult cats. He enjoys feline companionship and would do well with a friend!

Murphy also lives with a large, curious dog and is tolerant of his sniffs and shenanigans. With a slow introduction to a cat-savvy dog, he would likely be okay.

Likes / Dislikes
Murphy loves his food, especially chicken, and will happily devour a tube treat (or ten!). He enjoys playing with toys like wands and balls, and he also loves to get some fresh air in the enclosed cat run, where he rolls around in the grass and sand and hides or plays in the plants.

Murphy has definitely adjusted to the sights, sounds, and smells of a human home and is now comfortable being picked up for brief hugs and a smooch from his Foster Mum.

My PURR-fect home would be a calm home where I can settle in at my own pace. I would love a place to lay in the sun, and better yet, if you have a cat enclosure! That sure would be pawesome, but it’s not a dealbreaker. A kitty companion would be great, too.

Perth Rescue Angels recommends all cats are indoor only, unless they have access to a secure cat enclosure.
