Rio - A Gentle Giant Looking for His New Family

Rio is a wonderful large cat with a big presence to match. This loving boy brings a peaceful, calming energy to any home and forms strong bonds with his humans. He's proven to be a successful hunter, finding a mouse who made the mistake of coming into his foster home!

Rio greets his family with conversation in the mornings and evenings - he loves to share his day with you. He would thrive with access to a secure outdoor space or catio where he can safely enjoy fresh air and observe the world around him.

This easy-going fellow gets along well with other cats, as demonstrated by his positive relationship with his foster sibling. Rio is a pretty low-maintenance fellow, making him an ideal companion for someone seeking a relaxed, affectionate feline friend who will be both a loving couch buddy and an engaging personality in the household.

MEDICAL NOTES
Adoption fee includes vet check, vaccination, flea and worm treatment, microchip - including the transfer of ownership - and sterilisation.

ADOPTION DETAILS
To apply to adopt, please complete a SAFE Cat Adoption Enquiry Form via our website. You will be advised if your chosen cat is still available and then put in contact with the carer for a chance to ask further questions. If a meet-and-greet is then arranged, we will email the adoption paperwork and payment instructions to you prior to this. Please note payment must be made before adoption trial starts and we are unable to take cash payment.

Our adoption process includes a two-week trial to ensure your chosen cat is the right fit for your home. After a successful trial period, SAFE Bunbury will arrange transfer of ownership on your new pet's microchip and email copies of their vet records out to you.
