Pearl is a sweet and sensitive young girl who's still learning about the world around her. With a soft soul and a big heart, she's searching for a quiet, understanding home where she can settle in at her own pace.

Personality
Pearl can be a little unsure in new environments or when there's a lot going on. She needs a calm, predictable household with patient owners who can offer gentle reassurance and help build her confidence. Once she feels safe, Pearl bonds deeply and loves nothing more than soft affection and time with her people.

She is very loyal and eager to please once trust is built and may follow you everywhere at first. Encouraging her to explore the home and yard independently will help build her confidence and reduce separation anxiety.

Pearl may become worried if left alone too soon, so she'll need gradual desensitization to being on her own-starting with short periods and slowly extending as she feels more secure.

Training & Enrichment
Pearl loves her food and already knows how to sit! She thrives on positive reinforcement and will benefit from continued training and enrichment to stimulate her mind. Food-based puzzles and interactive feeding are a great way to keep her happy and engaged.

Children
Pearl is open to meeting the right family and must meet all children at the time of adoption. She can be a little shy at first but is very affectionate and seeks out gentle attention. With respectful, kind kids, she may enjoy some fun playtime followed by snuggles on the couch.

Other Dogs
Pearl must meet any resident dogs during the adoption process. She can be quite fearful of forward or excitable dogs and prefers the company of calm, respectful canine companions. She especially loves Joe (ID: 1500906)-so if you're considering adopting two dogs, these two could be a perfect match!
