Nash is a very handsome brindle boy who really wasn’t cut out to be a racer. He had 3 or 4 trainers who all gave up on him until his last trainer understood he really wanted to be a house dog more than anything. Since coming into foster care, Nash has adapted quickly to pet life. He previously spent a couple of months living inside with a pair of Mini Foxies & is currently sharing a home with three other Greyhounds. He has been introduced briefly to a cat but has not been fully assessed. He doesn’t like being left outside on his own for any length of time (will bark) so is best suited to an indoor lifestyle with someone home a fair bit – he will happily sit at your feet while you’re working or watching the TV, and push his nose under your arm for a pat.

Nash has a great appetite & will try all foods offered. He will try counter-surfing given half the opportunity – so be forewarned! Nash loves his walks & checking out all the new sights & smells in the neighbourhood. He sleeps right though the night & is enjoying his fleecy coat when he goes to bed now that the nights are getting cooler. He travels well in the car & enjoys outings to new places.

Nash would make a great companion for a single, couple or family (children 10 years plus) who are willing to include him into their daily activities.
