About Suzie
Hi, I’m Suzie. And I Know I’m Not Easy… But I’m Trying.
I’m 8 years old, and a little cuddle bunny when I get to know you.
In my foster home, I have my own little safe spot. I love my crate, soft blankets, quiet mornings, and the comfort of knowing what’s coming next. I’ve started doing things I never thought I’d do—like wagging my tail, or sitting nearby when I feel brave. I’m starting to think that maybe… just maybe… I can be okay.
I’m not the kind of dog who’s going to greet you at the door or sleep in your lap right away. I may never be that dog. But if you give me time and patience, I will show you who I am—quietly, slowly, and on my terms. I need someone special. Someone calm and gentle. Someone who doesn’t expect me to be “normal.” No loud homes, no kids, no fast hands. Just kindness, routine, and someone who sees me for more than my fears.
If you're the kind of person who understands that love isn’t always loud, and that progress sometimes looks like a single tail wag—then maybe you’re the person I’ve been waiting for.
Love, Suzie x
