About Ozzy
🌟 Meet Ozzy – The Ultimate Snuggle Bug 🌟
Ozzy is a sweet, sensitive little soul who’s happiest when he’s snuggled up — whether that’s beside his furry friends, nestled next to you on the couch, or curled up under the covers. This gentle boy loves to follow you around the house, but he prefers to come to you on his own terms. Once he trusts you, his affectionate side shines.
Despite his love for cuddles, Ozzy is still finding his paws in the outside world. He can be a bit nervous in the car and out on adventures, so he needs a patient, understanding family who can help build his confidence at his own pace. Indoors, however, he’s a happy little explorer, having fun with toys, sniffing around the garden, and sneakily collecting any treasures you might leave around.
🍖 Training and Lifestyle
Ozzy is a quick learner when food is involved — this boy is treat-motivated! He’s very close to being fully toilet trained and has no issues going on the grass (even when it’s raining!). He’s currently living with a large male dog and has shown zero signs of reactivity or jealousy. In fact, he adores the company and is happiest with a canine companion.
🏡 My Ideal Home
Ozzy would do best in a calm, loving home where he has another doggy friend for company. If he’s an only dog, he’ll need someone who’s home most of the time or who can take him along on outings.
His perfect family will be patient and let him come to them in his own time — especially when it comes to picking him up or reaching for him when standing. Once you’re seated, he’ll happily hop over for snuggles.
⚡ My Energy Level
Pretty chill overall. Ozzy is a champion napper who enjoys a little play session in the morning and evening. He’s content to snooze the day away next to you or another dog.
👶 My Suitability to Children
Ozzy currently lives with a young child, but he tends to avoid being touched by them. While he’s shown no signs of aggression, he prefers the company of adults. A home with older, dog-savvy kids 12 plus who understand his boundaries would be best.
🐾 My Suitability to Other Cats or Dogs
Ozzy is fantastic with other dogs — he loves his large dog buddy at home and has met other dogs without any reactivity, though he can be a little shy at first. He just needs slow, gentle introductions to build his confidence. He hasn’t been tested with cats.
If you’re ready to welcome a sweet, snuggly little guy with a gentle soul into your home, Ozzy might just be your perfect match. ❤️

Our foster carer will contact you when we receive your application to arrange a time for you to meet with their foster pet.
We want your adoption through Maggie's to be a good experience so we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog that may suit your situation better and the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two-week trial. At the end of the trial, we will transfer the microchip into your name and provide you with the pets vet certificates. Once you receive the Certificate of Identification from council, your adoption will be complete.
