About Josie
*In foster care in Canterbury, Sydney*
Josie is an absolute crack up! Bold, brave and adventurous, with cheeky energy for days, she's always on the go - usually in the direction of mischief :)
This quirky girl even has a signature move, which is sitting up on her hind legs like a meerkat when she wants some attention, or if she spies a toy that catches her interest!
While Josie is more than capable of keeping herself entertained when you're out, she's definitely a fan of human company - ready and waiting to greet you at the door with enthusiastic little meows when you arrive home. And the way she jumps up
joyfully whenever she sees you will melt your heart!
Like all Maggie's pets, Josie is microchipped, desexed and vaccinated.

MY IDEAL HOME: ... will be with a human/s who'll adore my energetic nature, affectionate ways and silly side! I'm a bit more active than average, so hopefully you'll find my noisy zoomies and crazy antics as much fun as I do :)
MY ENERGY LEVEL: Sky-high! Exploring nooks and crannies, racing around and wrestling with my toys are my favourite things. I do love snuggles and snoozes too... but only after I've worn myself out.
MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: I like people of all ages and sizes! Just remember to supervise when I'm around young kids, to keep us all safe and happy.
MY SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: I'm currently in foster care with four cat-savvy dogs and three resident cats, and it's been great! The only times I get spooked is when the bigger dogs make sudden movements, so any future canine buddies would ideally be on the calmer side and have experience with cats.

Our foster carer will contact you when we receive your application to arrange a time for you to meet with their foster pet.
We want your adoption through Maggie's to be a good experience so we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog that may suit your situation better and the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two-week trial. At the end of the trial, we will transfer the microchip into your name and provide you with the pets vet certificates. Once you receive the Certificate of Identification from council, your adoption will be complete.
