Meet Plankton – The Purring Powerhouse with a Heart of Gold!
Looking for the perfect mix of playful energy and cuddly charm? Let us introduce you to Plankton—a soft, pudgy bundle of joy whose purr rivals the roar of a V8 engine!
This gentle girl loves nothing more than darting around the living room in hot pursuit of toys, shadows, or just her own zoomies. After she’s done being the life of the party, Plankton is all about snuggles and will happily curl up beside you (or on you!) for a well-earned rest.
Plankton’s sweet and easygoing nature makes her a great fit for families, especially those with children who’ll keep her active and entertained. She gets along with other cats once she’s had a little time to settle and gain confidence in her space, but she’d also be content as the solo star of your home.
While she hasn’t yet met any dogs, with a calm, slow introduction, we believe she could make a canine companion her new best buddy.

Adoption details
Before applying to meet one of our cats, please ensure that
- you have the agreement of all members of the household to adopt a Cat
- you have your landlords permission to keep a pet. More information on what to do is available at https://www.consumer.vic.gov.au/housing/renting/applying-for-a-rental-property-or-room/pets-and-renting
- you have all the necessary bits and pieces to welcome your new family member, starting with a cat carrier to bring them home, a litter tray, litter, food and bowls as well as a bed, toys and scratchers
- you are ready to welcome them home NOW. We are unable to hold a cat for you if you are not ready to adopt.
All funds raised at Neko HQ are to benefit Maneki Neko Cat Rescue.
