About Sooty
Meet Sooty, the purrfect blend of sweetness, smoochiness and playfulness!
Sooty is the definition of a snugglebug! He loves to sleep on you as you watch TV, work from home, or whenever you’re sitting down. His favourite spot is to sleep on your chest, as close to you as possible, and reach his little paws up to your face, while purring constantly. He loves to smoosh his face into your face or hand to say hello, and ask for pats. He loves to be held and cuddled, and when you get home, he will run up to you and reach his front paws up to you, meowing to be picked up.
If he is all tuckered out from playing, but you can’t sit down to snuggle with him, you’ll find him cuddled up with his littermates, fast asleep, usually on his back!
When it isn't nap time, Sooty loves to play! Whether it's chasing his littermates, running after toy springs, jumping after wand toys, or playing in cardboard boxes, Sooty is always up for a good time! His favorite things to play with are wand toys and the ball track. He is very often found wrestling with his siblings, especially his sister, Sweep. He has boundless energy, and loves racing up tall cat trees!
He loves attention, and is always happy to meet someone new. He is good with other cats and well behaved dogs, but he especially loves people, and his litter mates, who are also available for adoption.

Adoption details
Our adoption process is as follows:
1. Submit an adoption application via our website at www.rescuecatsofmelbourne.com.au/adopt
2. We will be in touch with you within 48 hours if we wish to progress your application.
3. A meet and greet will then be organised so that you can meet your potential new family member!
4. Upon a successful meet and greet, an adoption day will be set for you to come and collect your new family member and sign all required paperwork
All of our cats come de-sexed, vaccinated, microchipped, flea treated, worm treated and with a clean bill of health.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
The rescue group has removed this pet and it is no longer available for adoption.
