Adoption details
Thank you for considering adopting from Jacaranda Cat Sanctuary! Our goal is to ensure each cat is matched with the right home for a happy, lifelong outcome. Here’s a quick overview of what to expect:
1. Submit an Expression of Interest
Start by submitting your interest. Any additional information you can provide regarding your pets at home would be super appreciated. We may then ask you to fill out our Expression of Interest & Adoption Agreement Form. This helps us understand your home environment, lifestyle, and preferences.
2. Chat with Our Team
We’ll get in touch for a friendly discussion to learn more about your household and answer any questions you may have about the cat you're interested in.
3. Meet and Greet
If it seems like a good fit, we’ll arrange a time for you to meet the cat either at the sanctuary or at their foster home. In some cases, we may suggest multiple visits to allow the cat to get comfortable.
4. Adoption Finalisation
Once approved, we’ll finalise the paperwork and adoption fee. All cats are desexed, vaccinated, microchipped, flea and worm treated prior to adoption.
5. Ongoing Support
We’re here for you post-adoption too! If you ever need advice or help settling your cat in, we’re just a message away.
