About Traveller Steve
G'day! I'm Traveler Steve, an 11-week-old ginger kitten with a heart full of wanderlust and a spirit as free as the Australian outback. With my fluffy orange coat and curious blue eyes, I'm ready to embark on a lifetime of adventures with you.
I'm a playful and affectionate lad who loves to explore every nook and cranny of my world. Whether it's chasing after a feather toy or curling up in a cozy spot for a nap, I bring joy and energy wherever I go. My inquisitive nature means I'm always ready to discover new things and share in the excitement of everyday life.
Much like the legendary swagman from the iconic Australian folk song "Waltzing Matilda," I carry my own little bundle of belongings-my toys, treats, and a whole lot of love. And just like the swagman who camps by a billabong, I find comfort in the simple joys of life, whether it's a sunny spot by the window or a quiet moment with my favorite human.
I'm seeking a loving and adventurous family who will appreciate my playful antics and gentle companionship. Whether you're an experienced cat owner or a first-time pet parent, I'm ready to bring a bit of Aussie charm into your home.
To book a meet and greet with Traveler Steve, please call the Bendigo Animal Relief Centre on 5441-2209 or email us at barcreception.com.au

Adoption details
BARC adoption officers will work with you to help you find a dog or cat that matches your needs, they will discuss things like yard fencing, exercise requirements, other pets and family members, lifestyle factors, and breed experience. To help make this as quick and easy as possible, we ask you complete and adoption questionnaire (located on our website, or you can complete on when you visit). This helps ensure that we are introducing you to the most suitable animals we have available.
We encourage all members of the household to attend a meet and greet with a pet prior to adopting an animal. If the animal being adopted is a dog, we will also require existing dogs in the household to attend the shelter as part of the meet and greet.
Holds can not be placed on animals over the phone, and can only be applied at the discretion of management.
