Meet Addison!

Addison is a rare little gem, literally. Ginger female cats are unusual, and with her lovely stripes and white socks, she is a stunning girl.

Addie is a very calm kitten for her age. While other kittens might be cartwheeling around the room and jumping on curtains and countertops or digging into pot plants, Addison prefers a different pace. She’s more observer than acrobat and enjoys watching the world go by from a sunny windowsill or gently joining in a quiet game by patting a ball or a soft toy.

She is an independent girl and doesn't need to be entertained, but she enjoys company and just being in the same space with her human and feline friends, even friendly dogs.

Addie loves pats and responds with a sweet, steady purr that tells you she’s perfectly content just being close. She likes to have sweet little chats with her special humans, meowing gently to let you know she'd like a pat (or to let you know it is time to serve her meal, PLEASE). She has the cute habit of taking your hand between her paws, and gently nibbling your fingers to show how much she enjoys the pats.

Despite her young age, Addison would be an ideal cat for someone looking for a calm companion to bring up, rather than a chaos coordinator. She would do beautifully in a home with another gentle or older cat who’s simply looking for company, not competition. She’s also dog-friendly and will happily coexist with a calm, respectful dog or dogs.

Addison is best suited to an adult or teen household where her quiet nature will be appreciated - someone living a pace similar to hers. She’s still growing into her full personality, and her future family will greatly shape the cat she becomes.
