About Joe
Meet Walnut, a cheeky Jack Russell mix puppy bursting with energy, curiosity, and charm.
Still just a baby, Walnut is in the early stages of learning about the world-and he's taking it all in with wagging tails and endless enthusiasm. Having recently spent time in a loving foster home, Walnut has already begun building some important life skills, but like all puppies, he will need continued support, structure, and positive reinforcement as he grows.
He's looking for a family who understands that raising a puppy is equal parts rewarding and challenging-a journey that requires patience, consistency, and lots of love.
Walnut is a social and affectionate pup who would thrive in an active household. He can go home with children who are respectful of young dogs and with other friendly, tolerant dogs who can help show him the ropes. He loves to play, explore, and be part of the action, and he's sure to bring laughter and joy to the home that welcomes him. It's important to remember that puppies like Walnut need plenty of physical and mental enrichment, along with gentle guidance to help them become confident, well-adjusted adult dogs.
Walnut isn't available for holds, so if you think this sweet, scruffy little adventurer might be the right match for your family, don't wait-come down to The Lost Dogs Home in North Melbourne and meet him today!
He's ready to find his forever people and begin his new life full of love, learning, and tail wags!
