About Fafa and Britt
***DUAL ADOPTION***
Fafa (DOB 04/12/19) and Britt (DOB 01/06/19) are two gorgeous British Shorthair ladies with big eyes, soft fur, and even softer hearts. These girls have been through a lot, but they’re still full of love, curiosity, and the occasional goofy zoom.
Their story starts out a little rough. They were sadly surrendered to the pound, and it quickly became clear that pound life was not their vibe - stressful, noisy, and not enough room for dignified lounging. The team at the pound could see these girls were struggling and reached out to Little Paws Kitten Rescue to step in and give them the quiet, loving care they deserved.
Fafa and Britt came from what’s known as a backyard breeder, which means they likely spent most of their early life being used for breeding, without the love, appropriate medical care, or attention that all animals deserve. Because of this, they developed a stress-related skin condition, but here’s the good news: they haven’t had a flare-up in over a year. With proper care and a calm environment, these girls have been absolutely thriving.
They’re a little shy at first - especially Britt, who prefers to assess new humans from a distance before making her move. Fafa is more of the socialite and will happily greet new people once she gives you a once-over. Both girls are gentle, affectionate, and have a real love for the cat tower life- you’ll often find them curled up, keeping an eye on their kingdom from the highest perch.
Speaking of kingdoms, Fafa and Britt are obsessed with bird-watching and wildlife TV (also known as "the window"). They’ll spend hours peacefully watching the world go by, daydreaming about chasing leaves and negotiating treaties with the local magpies.
But don’t be fooled by their chill vibes - these girls still know how to party! Break out a feather wand, and you’ll see two very dignified British ladies transform into bouncing, pouncing kittens again. Their eyes light up, they tap the floor like little sumo wrestlers, and they throw themselves into the chase with adorable enthusiasm.
These two are a bonded pair, and they’ve leaned on each other through thick and thin. We’d love to see them adopted together, into a home that’s calm, patient, and ready to show them what real love looks like. In return, you’ll get two wonderfully quirky companions who’ve come so far and are ready for their happily ever after.
All Little Paws Kitten Rescue cats and kittens come to you vet checked, desexed, vaccinated, microchipped, wormed, flea treated, and litter trained. As we are a rescue group, the adoption fee is not negotiable. Little Paws Kitten Rescue cats and kittens are indoor or cat enclosure only and must go to homes that intend them to stay that way. This is for their safety, the health of the cat or kitten and for the environment. It is our foster carer’s choice as to which home a cat or kitten goes to. We match the cats and kittens to the adoptee; we do not necessarily “sell” to the first caller. As our foster carers are all volunteers raising the cats and kittens in their own home, we would appreciate you letting them know if you cannot make an appointment.
Medical notes
They have a stress related skin condition - only flares up in extreme stress.
