Boo

Boo is a 6-year-old Heeler with a heart full of quiet love and a gentle nature that's slowly emerging as she gains confidence in the world around her.
A timid girl at first, Boo warms up beautifully with a patient and gentle approach. She enjoys sitting quietly next to her person and will even nudge your hand for more affection once trust is established. Her calm presence and sweet nature make her a truly special companion.

Boo is food motivated, which will be a great asset in her ongoing training. While she doesn't currently know any cues, she walks nicely on a loose lead once comfortable and is responsive to positive reinforcement. She is quite head shy and uncertain about harnesses and leads, so she'll benefit from confidence-building and slow, positive exposure using force-free methods.

She hasn't yet shown interest in toys but may become more playful as she continues to settle. Boo may be suited to a home with a calm and respectful canine friend, or she'd be equally happy as your one-and-only in a peaceful home environment. She needs to go to an adult only home, or a home with calm and quiet teenagers.

Boo is looking for a gentle, patient person who will take things at her pace and help her grow into the loving, loyal companion she's meant to be.
