About Annie
Meet Annie: A sensitive, anxious soul, who has had a rough start to life being found tied up outside a vet at only 1 years old. The last couple of years she has grown so much in confidence. She loves her easy-going dog friends and often finds confidence from them as they help remind her that humans can in fact be kind. It takes a while for her to feel safe, but once she knows you’re one of her people, she’s a snuggly love bug! She’s a bundle of energy who also loves to cuddle up on the couch, a fast learner and a sweetheart. However, Annie is also an escape artist, so when walking her, she’ll likely always need to stay on a leash and you’ll need to make sure she can’t get out. Loud noises terrify her, so gentle and short introductions to your usual walking route is necessary. A creature of comfort who likes her routine, Annie is best suited to a secure home with no children and someone who is home a lot of the time. Additionally, she will need to go to a home with a confident pooch who can show her the ropes in her new furever home. Annie has sensitive skin so often needs her feet washed in medicated shampoo. She is a great eater who loves her food - she will try and take other dog’s food, so you may need to stand guard, or feed them in separate rooms.
In short – Annie is a unique scruff ball of goofiness, full of attitude, love, sensitivity and energy who deserves all the love in the world!
