About Storm
Steven Toast is a sweet, sensitive boy who's looking for a special someone to help him feel safe and loved. He can be nervous around new people and needs a quiet, understanding home where he can take his time building a bond before being introduced to visitors or unfamiliar situations.
Steven must be the only pet in the household, as he thrives best with one-on-one companionship and is unsure about other dogs. He is also not suited to a home with young children, but could be happy in a home with teenagers. He'll need a secure yard for safe outdoor time and a cozy indoor space where he can retreat during storms, which can make him anxious. With time and gentle desensitization once he's settled, he can build his confidence. Food is the way to Steven's heart - he's very food-motivated and already knows how to sit! He also enjoys playing with toys and will fetch and play tug of war. Once he trusts you, his playful, affectionate side really shines. If you can offer Steven Toast the patience, security, and calm environment he needs, you'll be rewarded with a loyal and loving companion.
