About Hester
Meet Hester, a super sweet and gentle companion who is looking for a loving new family. His understated charm makes him the perfect dog for various living situations, whether you're residing in a house with a yard or a cozy apartment.
Hester is quite comfortable doing his own thing during the day but would flourish with a human companion who is around often. While he can be content as a solo pet, he also enjoys the company of small dogs and is cat-friendly, currently sharing his foster home with a Chihuahua puppy. Hester is fine with children and is not known to jump or become startled when asleep, but he does appreciate having his own cozy bed space.
He takes his daily walks in stride, proving to be well-behaved on a leash with little to no pulling. House-trained with access to a doggy door, Hester has had no accidents inside and is quickly becoming accustomed to slightly louder environments, proving he is ready to learn.
Although he is a bit timid around loud noises, Hester is improving in this area and, given his young age, is open to learning new tricks and behaviors.
With his sweet, affectionate disposition, Hester is bound to bring warmth and love to any home lucky enough to have him. If you're searching for a gentle, loving friend who'll make each day just a bit brighter, Hester might just be the perfect match for you!
