While he can be a little unsure about close handling and indoor spaces, he's a loyal companion who just needs a bit of time and understanding to feel truly at ease.

Monty would thrive in a home with free indoor/outdoor access, where he can come and go at his own pace. He's not quite ready to be a full-time indoor dog, but given the choice, he may decide to share your couch one day-on his terms!

Monty is dog-social and would love a friendly, easy-going canine companion-especially one who enjoys a good romp and can help show him the ropes. A meet-and-greet with any resident dogs is essential to ensure a good match.

Though he's gentle, Monty is best suited to a home with older, respectful children who understand boundaries and can help create a calm, predictable environment.
