Hi, I’m Gnocchi 🐾

I’m a chilled-out, easygoing kind of guy who’s just here for a comfy spot on the verandah and a bit of company. I get along just fine with other dogs and live happily with a bunch of cats, including some playful kittens. I’d be just as content as your one-and-only too – I’m pretty adaptable like that.

My days are spent lazing around on the verandah or gently roaming the yard (I’m on a rural property at the moment). I’ve got good recall and I don’t chase wildlife too far – wallabies and hares don’t bother me much. I’m outside most of the time and sleep on the verandah. I manage well on my own during the day, even for 8 hours.

I live with two school-aged kids and I’m totally fine with them. I might bark at strangers and keep my distance at first, but I just wait for a bit of reassurance from someone I trust. I’m not much into toys, but I’ll gladly do a sit, wait, or stay for a treat – and I’ll even put my paw on your hand as you give it to me.

I’m quiet unless I’m alerting, don’t have any health or behavioural concerns (just some knock-knees that should improve as I grow), and I’m as lazy as they come – truly, I’m wombat-level chill. I eat Meals for Mutts, haven’t done much lead work yet, and I’ve never met a vet I didn’t like.

All I really want is a laid-back home and a spot to keep watch while you do your thing. I’d make a great companion dog – happy to hang out, soak up the sun, and cheer you on from the sidelines.
