About Diggle
Meet DIGGLE, a handsome male blue cattle dog puppy, born in mid March 2025.
Diggle and his littermates came to us via the pound so we have no information on their mum and dad, but our vet says they're blue cattle dog through and through.
Cattle dogs can make great family pets, loyal companions and excellent watchdogs. They have exceptionally high IQs and may get into mischief if left to their own devices. They require plenty of exercise, and will become bored if stuck in a backyard for lengthy periods without stimulation or company. They are renowned for their trustworthiness and reliability. They are not barkers by nature, but will sound the bark alarm if a stranger intrudes on their territory.
The secret to bringing the best out in a working dog like Diggle is to keep him occupied and well loved. His greatest joy is the love and attention of an active owner or family, while his greatest disappointment is inactivity and lack of attention.
To be happy and content, Diggle will need plenty of daily exercise and play. Secure fencing is a must.
If you are interested in meeting Diggle, PLEASE COMPLETE THE ONLINE ADOPTION APPLICATION at https://southerndownsark.com.au/apply-to-adopt/ and one of our volunteers will be in touch.
Preference will be given to homes where:
* someone is around most of the time and/or there is another dog for the pup to play with; and
* the pup is regarded as an integral part of the family.
Diggle's adoption fee includes the cost of desexing, when age appropriate. Terms and conditions apply.
Medical notes
No known pre-existing conditions.
Diggle received his first puppy vaccination in a course of three on 14 May 2025
