Peeka is a sweet girl who is ready to find her forever home.
She loves the simple things in life: sunbathing, cuddling on the couch and of course treats which are politely asked for using her command button.
She is very well behaved indoors, happy to sit on her bed and be near her humans.
Peeka knows her basic commands like sit, lay down and stay and she’s always eager to please - she’s an intelligent girl. She doesn’t quite realise how big she is which only adds to her charm. While she is a calm dog indoors, she can get a very excitable out and about whilst on lead especially around other dogs. She’s making great progress but needs guidance and supervision, as well as a capable handler as she is very strong. Being such a big, strong girl we would prefer someone with large breed experience for Peeka’s forever home.
Peeka was surrendered due to not getting along with the other large female dog in her previous household, however we are told she was not the aggressor. We have seen that Peeka is quite reactive to other dogs when out and about, so she will need someone committed to her ongoing socialisation and carefully managing her interactions with other dogs. It may be that she is better off being the only dog in her new home.
If you’re looking for a sweet, goofy girl for cuddles and companionship, look no further than Peeka.
Peeka is $350 to adopt and comes desexed, C5 vaccinated, heartworm tested (negative), microchipped, and given flea/tick/worm prevention.
