Chiqui needs a foster carer
About Chiqui
Chiqui is one of seven lost racing pigeons we’ve rescued in the last few weeks. She was picked up wandering alone, lost after a race and taken to the pound awaiting her future. Luckily, Chiqui got her second chance!
Within a few days at the shelter, Chiqui made sure to let us know that she wanted to be the biggest flirt and impress everyone within a 10km radius. Her favourite thing is to dance around your hands and lead you to her perfect nesting spots. She loves your morning chats and is always looking for attention
Chiqui would love a special person to call her own in her new home!

Once you have expressed interest in a bird, we ask that you formally apply to adopt via our adoption form (this can be done ahead of time) https://forms.gle/cjP9TZJcKAgkze6A6
From there we will work with the adopter to find a bird that suits their lifestyle, and organise a meet and greet at our shelter. We offer continious support post-adoption and are always available for help or questions.
