About Sadie
Sadie is currently in foster care at Mannus Correctional Centre, NSW
Meet Sadie, a sweet and gentle 3-year-old Dachshund with a heart full of affection. Sadie is a reserved and quiet girl, preferring the tranquility of a peaceful home where she can feel secure and loved. Her calm disposition makes her an ideal companion for those who appreciate mellow moments and gentle companionship. Sadie enjoys being near her human companions and will quickly become your steadfast shadow, providing quiet comfort with her presence.
While Sadie has shown a bit of anxiety on the lead and may need a little extra training and exposure to broaden her horizons, she's eager to learn and grow with a caring family. Her confidence blossoms with positive reinforcement and patience. She would thrive best in a quiet home environment without the hustle and bustle of small children, allowing her to settle in comfortably at her own pace.
In terms of socializing, Sadie appears to be relaxed around other dogs and typically exhibits indifference when it comes to cats, making her a versatile addition to a household with pre-existing pets. Although she may demonstrate some separation anxiety when left alone, her devoted nature ensures her love and loyalty are unmatched. With plenty of cuddles and a secure space to call her own, Sadie is ready to become the cherished companion you've been searching for. If your lifestyle matches Sadie's preference for a calm, steady routine, she may be the perfect pup to complete your family.

Adoption details
Our adoption process is easy. You will receive a application for the animals you are interested in. Please full that in and send it back to us.
Even though you may be first to message, this does not always guarantee you will be chosen to adopt. By no means do we run on a "first in, first served basis". We aim to ensure that our animals are adopted into the most suitable home for them and the new family.
With all our animals, we go on what our vet has told us and what we believe the breed and age to be. We never guarantee the breed or age but take the best educated guess.
Please note: Our shelter is located in the Snowy Mountains. We are a 5 hour drive from Sydney and Melbourne and 2 to 3 hours from Canberra.
