About Peach
Peach is currently in foster care at Mannus Correctional Centre, NSW
Meet Peach, an adorable three-year-old Dachshund who is filled with love and joy! This friendly, sociable little girl quickly becomes the center of attention wherever she goes. Her cheerful demeanor and wagging tail make her the perfect companion for anyone looking to welcome a joyful and loving dog into their home.
Peach gets along well with other dogs and quickly warms up to new canine companions despite initially barking to introduce herself. However, she is not suited for homes with cats, as she tends to bark and get a bit too excited around them. Her love for treats and attention makes her easy to train at meal times, and she will do almost anything for a tasty reward!
In new situations, Peach may start out cautiously, but she soon reveals her outgoing and confident nature once she feels comfortable. She loves being the center of attention, whether it's going for walks around the neighborhood or lounging on the couch with her human companions. Peach thrives in settings where she can socialize and become a treasured member of the family.
If you're looking for a delightful, spirited companion to share your days with, Peach is sure to bring endless joy and affection to your home.

Adoption details
Our adoption process is easy. You will receive a application for the animals you are interested in. Please full that in and send it back to us.
Even though you may be first to message, this does not always guarantee you will be chosen to adopt. By no means do we run on a "first in, first served basis". We aim to ensure that our animals are adopted into the most suitable home for them and the new family.
With all our animals, we go on what our vet has told us and what we believe the breed and age to be. We never guarantee the breed or age but take the best educated guess.
Please note: Our shelter is located in the Snowy Mountains. We are a 5 hour drive from Sydney and Melbourne and 2 to 3 hours from Canberra.
