About Nathan
G’day G’day!
My name is Nathan, but you can call me Nathaniel, Nate or even ‘Helloooo handsome boy!’ (I think the latter is actually my official name, as I get that A LOT from everyone who meets me).
I’m tall, dark and handsome and apparently have the cutest butt wiggle when I walk (or so I’ve been told – I can’t see that far back so I’ll just have to take the vollies’ word for it).
I absolutely adore people! I get really excited when the vollies come to take me for walks or spend time with me. I like to be up-close-and-personal with them and have a habit of leaning against them and occasionally trying to walk between their legs (not the easiest when you’re a tall lad like me: nevertheless I persist!).
One of my fave pastimes is playing with my toys. Do you know how many awesome toys there are now for greyhounds? I want to meet and play with ALL of them!
I get along well with bigger dogs, but I'm still learning how to be friends with the smaller kind, so it's best that my new home doesn't include any of them.
I have a lot of love to give, so if you have a Nathan-sized space in your heart and home, let's meet - and hopefully we can bring each other years of joy and companionship.
Interested?
If you think you'd be interested in meeting me, please complete an application form here https://greyhoundrescue.com.au/apply-now/ so that the volunteers at Greyhound Rescue can get on the case.
Our matchmakers go to greyt lengths to match each hound with the right family to make sure everyone's happy, and you'll become part of a wonderful rescue community with lots of support along the way!
All hounds are desexed, vaccinated, microchipped, flea and worm treated, and heartworm tested/treated. The adoption fee also includes our New Adopter Kit - collar, leash, muzzle and loads of other goodies to help you get your new hound settled into the family.
