About Koda
💥 Meet Koda – The Life of the Paw-ty! 💥
In foster care with SAFE Newman and ready to bounce into your heart.
Koda isn’t just a dog—he’s a full-blown vibe. Picture this: a medium-sized Staffy with the energy of a kangaroo on a trampoline and a grin that could power a small town. This lovable larrikin brings the sunshine wherever he goes, with a personality that’s absolutely larger than life.
Koda’s motto? Go big or go nap.
He’s a social butterfly who lives to hang out with his people. Whether it’s a walk around the block, a game in the backyard, or chilling with the fam watching TV (with snacks, please), Koda wants in. He thrives on being part of the action and will quickly become your favourite shadow—just don’t tell the cat.
⚠️ Full disclosure: Koda doesn’t quite grasp that he’s not a lapdog. Think “cuddles with momentum.” Due to his bouncy enthusiasm, older kids who can hold their ground are a better match.
💡 A bit of training will go a long way—he’s eager to learn and even more eager to please. Bonus points if treats are involved.
🐾 Koda could be a great mate for a female dog or a desexed male, pending a successful meet and greet.
This bright spark is currently in foster care with a loving family who’ve gotten to know his quirks and charms. That means we already know he’s got all the makings of a loyal sidekick—he’s just looking for the right crew to join.
Ready to let Koda light up your world?

I CAN FLY TO PERTH!
Flying for a few hours is very important for animals in remote locations because it gives us the opportunity to be adopted. Talk to SAFE about flying me to Perth.
4 THINGS TO CONSIDER BEFORE APPLYING:
1. Time Commitment: Owning a dog is a big responsibility and requires a significant commitment of time and energy. Be sure to consider how much time you can realistically dedicate to caring for a dog and make sure you are prepared to make that commitment.
2. Cost: Owning a dog can be expensive. Make sure to consider the cost of food, medical care, toys, and other supplies. You may also want to think about enrolling your dog in obedience classes or hiring a professional dog walker.
3. Space: Depending on the breed, some dogs require a lot of space. Make sure you have enough room in your home and yard to accommodate a dog before making the decision to adopt.
4. Lifestyle: Think about your current lifestyle and how a dog may fit into it. Consider if you have any restrictions such as travel, work hours, or allergies. Also, think about how owning a dog may affect your social life.
NOTES:
Adoption fee includes vet check, first vaccination*, flea and worm treatment, microchipping and sterilisation at a SAFE approved vet at 6 months of age.
*Puppies and dogs may require further vaccination(s) to complete the full vaccination course. This will be at the cost of the new owner and is not included in the adoption fee.
