Cleona is the sweetest girl who wins hearts all over the place. A happy, affectionate dog who is happy to lounge at your feet a lot of the day.

More kelpie than staffy, not a rough playing girl, Cleona has been really well socialised with all kinds of dogs.

Cleona will suit an environment with not a huge backyard and perhaps another dog for companionship and play. Cleona is not a dog that is going on hikes or off-leash at the park. Normal family / household stimulation will keep her occupied. Please read the medical advice below.

MEDICAL
Early in her life Cleona experienced a fracture in her front left wrist which meant she was kept in a splint and cast for 6 weeks. She has healed and is fully mobile now. For now the instructions are for her to have normal puppy exercise. No running on lead and only shorter walks. As Cleona grows to be an adult when on walks make them shorter and on softer ground. Ensure she doesn't get overweight. She will likely get osteoarthritis as she ages.

If significant lameness develops then she may require a pan-carpal arthrodesis in the future, but until then should watch and wait. Doing the things above will hopefully push this as far into the future as possible.
