About Jeff
***WE'RE ALWAYS ON THE LOOKOUT FOR FOSTER CARERS TO HELP US OUT SO IF YOU THINK YOU CAN PROVIDE A TEMPORARY HOME FOR ONE OF OUR BEAUTIFUL CATS PLEASE LET US KNOW. THE MORE CARERS WE HAVE AVAILABLE TO LEND A HAND THE MORE CATS WE CAN HELP REHOME***
This handsome little gentleman is Jeff and he's on the lookout for his new forever home.
We don't know a whole lot about Jeff just yet as we found him in a shelter recently. Sadly he was due to cross the rainbow bridge so we just had to get him out of there and give him a chance at a great life.
He was very hissy and grumpy when in captivity which is why he ended up on death row. The poor little guy was obviously very scared and not handling shelter environment very well.
Since arriving in his foster carers home he has been a little grumpy initially but has otherwise been very low maintenance. He has been happy to keep to himself in his little igloo during the day and come out to explore in the evening when no one is around.
He is going to take a bit of time to decompress after being in the shelter environment so we've been giving him plenty of space to settle, but his super foster carer still makes sure to spend time with him every day so that he can get used to them.
But once he has had a chance to settle we are certain his beautiful personality will begin to shine through and we'll find ourselves with a sweet and loving cat on our hands.
Jeff is approximately 5 years old and has been desexed vaccinated, microchipped, flea and worm treated and will be available for adoption soon.
If you think you have the room in your heart and your home to provide this gorgeous little fella with a great life please let us know and we’ll be more than happy to arrange a time for you to meet and fall in love with him.
Located in Ballarat with our amazing foster carers.
To express your interest please send us a message with your details and we will give you a call as soon as we can to discuss.
A little about us:
Urban Feline Australia is a newly established cat rescue service, run by one passionate individual with the help of friends and volunteers, that is dedicated to keeping cats out of kill shelters and helping them find loving forever homes. We specialize in helping "surrenders" which are cats that have lived with humans previously but for one reason or another their owners are unfortunately no longer able to look after them. We take your pets into our amazing cat sanctuary where they're treated with love and affection until the right forever home is found for them.
Urban Feline Australia is not a large company with government resources, a large facility and a lot of staff. Our tiny rescue is a one man operation run from the safety of our own home. We do this for the love of animals and our only agenda is to save as many cats as we can. We rely heavily on cooperation from friends, other rescues, our amazing foster carers and the kindness of strangers to survive. Every cent we receive from donations and adoption fees is used to keep our rescue running and cover the cost of food, water, litter, equipment and vet bills for the animals in our care.
We are doing as much as we can right now but our dream is to one day be able to purchase a larger property or facility that would allow us to be able to save the lives of many more cats in need. Perhaps even open a cat cafe so that we can spread our message to a wider audience.
We have recently created a Go Fund Me towards this end so if you would like to donate towards our cause please follow the below link.
