About Heidi - now at PET Quarters Thornton
All About Me and My Unique Personality:
Heidi is 5kg of pure love as long - as you are a human. She does not like other cats so must be an only cat. But she is so affectionate and so gorgeous you will instantly fall in love when you meet her. She purrs as soon as you touch her and will try to lick you while you patting her. Loves a good back scratch and head rub. She might be older but there is a lot of life left in her yet and she deserves a great home and a loving family.
Please only apply if you are intending to keep Heidi as an indoor only cat.

My Ideal Home:
Heidi needs a home where she is the only cat. She just does not like other cats.
What is Known About My Background:
She was placed in the night cages at Charmhaven Pound. No note and no response from the microchip owner.
How Do I Interact with Kids, Dogs, Cats and Other Pets:
Hisses at other cats. Does not seem to mind my labrador dog but only had small interactions with it. Do not know what she is like around kids but no reason to think she would not be ok with them - she loves people.

Adoption details
Applicants will be required to complete and submit an Adoption form from https://www.hunteranimalrescue.com.au
HAR uses the details in this form to select the most appropriate family for our animals. This form allows us to get to know you, your home, your family, lifestyle and level of experience with pets.
Adoptions are NOT approved on a first come first served basis. The adoption process can be lengthy by the time we process all expressions of interest.
HAR Adoption Process
1- Carer will assess and arrange a meet and greet with suitable applicants.
2- If the meet and greet is successful, a yard/home inspection is conducted.
3- If your yard/home passes inspection, the adoption fee is paid, paperwork completed and a 2 week trial period is arranged.
4- On successful completion of the trial period HAR will submit paperwork to Local Council for processing.
Adoption fee includes:- mandatory de-sexing, microchip, vaccination, vet check, flea and worm treatment.
