Posie is a delightful little lady looking for a loving home. This sweet kitten will charm you with her gentle personality and adorable habits. Posie loves following her humans around the house, announcing her presence with soft little meows. She enjoys interactive toys and gets along wonderfully with other feline friends. After playtime, Posie transforms into the ultimate snuggle buddy, seeking out warm laps and cosy spots near her people. She's comfortable and patient around children of all ages!
Posie is fine sharing her home with doggy siblings as long as they respect her space. Posie will set boundaries with the dogs and communicates her limits politely by arching her back and walking away when dogs get too close.
Currently thriving in foster care with two young children, two medium-sized dogs, and another adopted kitten, Posie is adaptable and should suit most loving homes. She's fully litter trained and enjoys her food. Posie can be startled by sudden loud sounds initially, so a slow introduction to anything new is key with this little cutie.
Posie is ready to bring her sweet personality and gentle companionship to a loving family. Could she be the missing piece in yours?
* If you already have pets in your home, a slow and gradual introduction is a must, to ensure your pets and your new kitten have the best chance at a successful integration
* Kittens love company and do best in homes where they are not left for long hours without people.
MEDICAL NOTES
Adoption fee includes vet check, first vaccination*, flea and worm treatment, microchip including the transfer of ownership, and sterilisation at a SAFE approved vet at 6 months of age (see list below).
*Kittens may require further vaccination(s) to complete the full vaccination course. This will be at the cost of the new owner and is not included in the adoption fee. Please enquire for more information.
ADOPTION DETAILS
To apply to adopt, please complete a SAFE Cat Adoption Enquiry Form via our website. You will be advised if your chosen kitten is still available and then put in contact with the carer for a chance to ask further questions. If a meet-and-greet is then arranged, we will email the adoption paperwork and payment instructions to you prior to this. Please note payment must be made before adoption trial starts and we are unable to take cash payment.
Our adoption process includes a two-week trial to ensure your chosen pet is the right fit for your home. After a successful trial period, SAFE Bunbury will arrange transfer of ownership on your new pet's microchip and email copies of their vet records out to you.
When adopting a kitten under 6 months old, one of the following approved vet clinics should be selected by the adopter to arrange for his/her sterilisation by the age of 6 months. The sterilisation surgery is included in the adoption fee:
Blair Street Veterinary Hospital, Bunbury
Busselton Veterinary Hospital, Busselton
Ninth Street Vet Clinic, Harvey
Halls Head Small Animal Clinic, Halls Head
