SWEET BOY!
- Hi, I’m Coal! Adorable, Adventurous, and Ready to Join Your Family!
- I’m a sweet, curious little boy with a big heart and a playful spirit.
- My brother Chai and I were found all alone in the big, wide world, but the wonderful people at SAFE Busselton gave us a second chance and now, I’m on the lookout for my new home!
- I’m a bit smaller than my brother and a little more shy at first, but once I feel safe and comfortable, my adventurous side comes out! I love to climb, explore, and play.
- Once I get to know you, don’t be surprised if I start climbing all over you—your lap, your shoulders, your tummy, and even your head! (Yes, the top of your head is one of my favorite perches.) I especially enjoy playing with toys and getting gentle ear scratches.
- While I need a bit of time to warm up, I get along well with both cats and dogs. I currently live with a big dog in my foster home - at first I was a little scared and did some hissing, but now we’re great friends! I even climb on him when he’s lying down.
- If you choose to adopt me, I promise to keep you entertained with my silly antics and playful energy. I’m ready to love and be loved - are you the one I’ve been waiting for?
PLEASE NOTE: I have had my 1st vaccination. Conditions of my adoption are that I have my 2nd vaccination on 30/5/25 and am sterilised and microchipped at the age of 6 months on or as close as possible to 22/9/25. These procedures must be done at a SAFE approved vet clinic in Busselton, Vasse or Bunbury and are covered in the adoption fee. If you live outside of these areas, the adoption fee will be adjusted to cover the costs of these procedures at SAFE approved vet clinics in other areas.

Our adoption process includes a two-week trial period to ensure you and your adopted pet are the right fit.
The adoption fee includes desexing, vaccinations, microchip (including transfer of ownership), flea and worm treatment and vet check.
SAFE Busselton requests that all persons adopting a cat adhere to responsible containment practices. As per the current Cat Laws in WA we encourage people to keep their rescued cat as a permanent indoor cat or with access to a safe cat run. It is no longer desirable to allow your cat to wander onto adjoining properties. Confident cats can also be trained to walk on a harness and lead. We ask that owners be responsible and keep their adopted cat safe at all times so that you will have a long and loving life together. Information on cat enclosures can be found here: https://safe.org.au/catios
SAFE Busselton reserves the right to select adoptive homes based on “best fit” for the pet. Although all applications will be considered, being the first application will not necessarily provide an advantage as the adoption committee considers many factors when matching animals to their new home.
