About Eaglebee
Eaglebee isn't the first to run up and demand attention - and that's what makes her so special. She's a quiet soul, still learning that people can be kind, gentle, and patient. And while she may take her time, once she starts to trust you, the reward is something truly beautiful.
She watches the world from safe places: cozy hideaways, windowsills, the quiet corners of a room. But even from a distance, you can tell - there's a softness to her, a quiet curiosity, and a deep desire to belong.
Eaglebee needs a calm, understanding home with someone who won't rush her but will celebrate every tiny victory: a little stretch in your presence, a slow blink, the first time she curls up nearby without darting away. If you know the quiet joy of earning a shy animal's trust, you'll love her dearly.

Adoption details
BARC adoption officers will work with you to help you find a dog or cat that matches your needs, they will discuss things like yard fencing, exercise requirements, other pets and family members, lifestyle factors, and breed experience. To help make this as quick and easy as possible, we ask you complete and adoption questionnaire (located on our website, or you can complete on when you visit). This helps ensure that we are introducing you to the most suitable animals we have available.
We encourage all members of the household to attend a meet and greet with a pet prior to adopting an animal. If the animal being adopted is a dog, we will also require existing dogs in the household to attend the shelter as part of the meet and greet.
Holds can not be placed on animals over the phone, and can only be applied at the discretion of management.
