About Axel
If you're the kind of person who values quiet company and mutual respect, Axel might just be your soulmate.
Axel is a character, he's got that low-key charm that sneaks up on you-the type of cat who might ignore you for most of the day, then suddenly appear next to you like, "What? I've been here the whole time."
He's a smooch and want to be lap cat but he will reward your patience with occasional headbutts, long gazes from across the room, and the his vocal opinions. He enjoys lounging in sunbeams, people-watching from the windowsill, and being exactly where he wants to be.
Axel would thrive in a home with cat experience. He's not needy, not clingy, and a lovable smooch. If you give him the time and space he needs, you'll earn his trust-and that's worth more than a thousand meows. He has lived an inside life with other animals in his previous home.
To book a meet and greet with Axel, please call the Bendigo Animal Relief Centre on 5441-2209 or email us at barcreception.com.au

Adoption details
BARC adoption officers will work with you to help you find a dog or cat that matches your needs, they will discuss things like yard fencing, exercise requirements, other pets and family members, lifestyle factors, and breed experience. To help make this as quick and easy as possible, we ask you complete and adoption questionnaire (located on our website, or you can complete on when you visit). This helps ensure that we are introducing you to the most suitable animals we have available.
We encourage all members of the household to attend a meet and greet with a pet prior to adopting an animal. If the animal being adopted is a dog, we will also require existing dogs in the household to attend the shelter as part of the meet and greet.
Holds can not be placed on animals over the phone, and can only be applied at the discretion of management.
