About Eve
Get ready to meet Eve, the most charming and affectionate land seal ( English Staffy) you'll ever encounter. With a heart as big as her personality, Eve is the kind of friend who will quickly become your most devoted companion. Her love knows no bounds, and once she’s in your life, you’ll find it impossible to have a more loyal, loving friend by your side. Every step of the way, Eve will be there, ready to shower you with unwavering affection.
Eve’s world revolves around spending time with her family. She’s a social butterfly, eager to be involved in everything that’s going on. Her favourite moments include playing with her Staffy foster brother, as they race around the backyard or chew on toys together. But above all else, Eve’s true joy in life comes from snuggling up with her people. Like any true Staffy, she believes that the closer she is to you, the better, and she’ll happily sneak right into your lap if given half the chance!
Eve is all about human connection. Whether you're an adult or a child, she’s thrilled to greet you with enthusiasm and affection. She currently shares her home with two adults, two children and her foster fur doggo brother , and her excitement can sometimes get the best of her. Eve’s energy is contagious, and she might jump up to show just how much she cares (especially when it’s time for cuddles!). Her foster family is working with her on refining her manners, and she’s showing steady progress. With a little more training, she’ll be the perfect companion for anyone who loves a dog full of spirit and love.
Though Eve hasn’t had much formal training in the past, every day she’s improving. She’s learned to go to the back door when she needs to go outside, and while she’s still working on mastering commands like “sit” and “go to your bed,” she’s making wonderful progress. Eve would absolutely thrive with continued training.
Eve’s interactions with her foster brother are full of fun and affection. She loves playing and chasing him around, though sometimes, in her excitement, she can be a bit of a “space invader.” She’s all about getting attention and loves being the centre of attention, even if it means nudging her foster brother out of the way for a few extra pats. While he’s been incredibly patient with her, not all dogs may share her enthusiasm for this playstyle. With a little guidance, Eve will continue to fine-tune her social skills and grow into the perfect companion for her future family.
Eve is currently enjoying a Premium adult dry food . While she isn’t particularly food-driven, her laid-back approach to eating means she prefers to graze throughout the day. That said, if given the opportunity, she’s always curious and ready to explore—especially when there’s food to be found in the bin!
Eve has shown no signs of food aggression, although she is fed separately from her foster brother to ensure a peaceful mealtime.
Eve thrives on companionship and dislikes being completely alone. She’s perfectly content outside with her foster brother, but nothing beats being with her human family. Whether it's lounging beside them or simply watching them go about their day, Eve loves to be part of the action. At night, she enjoys the comfort of being indoors with her foster family, curling up on her bed for a peaceful sleep
Eve is amazing when it comes to bath time. She doesn’t mind being pampered, allowing her foster family to gently wash and blow dry her coat without any fuss.
Eve has established a peaceful nighttime routine. After her evening toilet break around 10 or 11 pm, she settles down inside in her crate and sleeps soundly until around 6:30 am. She wakes up, gets a quick potty break, and is ready to start the day.
When Eve first arrived, she had low fitness levels, but with consistent daily walks from her foster family, she’s slowly gaining strength. She’s building stamina, though occasionally she’ll pause mid-walk for a rest. With a patient family who can continue her exercise regimen, Eve will become even more fit and energetic—ready to enjoy longer walks and explore new surroundings.
Eve is an indoor gal who loves being around her family. She’s still working on her manners and can occasionally jump on the furniture—especially when she’s seeking a cuddle.
She is toilet trained and always makes it outside to do her business.
Ideal Home-
Eve’s ideal home is one where she can be part of the family’s daily life. She thrives on human interaction and would not do well being left outside alone for long periods. She needs a home where she can be included in activities, whether it's relaxing indoors or joining in on family outings. Eve gets along well with other dogs, but she would benefit from having a friend who is patient with her while she learns the ropes of doggy etiquette. She can be a little pushy at times, so her new canine sibling should be understanding. A good-sized yard for exploration and play is a must, and shelter in the backyard is essential if she’s outside for extended periods.
Eve adores children, though due to her excitement and lack of spatial awareness, she may be better suited for a family with older children or those committed to continuing her training
Adoption Criteria
