Hi, I'm Bagel! I may be a little shy at first, but give me time and I'll melt into your life like butter on, well... a bagel.
Okay, I'll be honest - I'm not the kind of cat who's going to leap into your lap on day one. I like to take things slow. I'll check out the scene, find a quiet corner to observe from, and get a feel for you and your rhythm. But give me some space, a sprinkle of patience, and a lot of kindness? That's when the magic starts to happen.
Once I feel safe, you'll get to meet the real me: curious, engaging, and quietly affectionate. I love to explore my surroundings at my own pace, hang out nearby while you're reading or working, and come in for soft head bumps and purrs when the moment feels right. And guess what? Once I'm settled and comfy, my playful side starts to show too. I can be pretty entertaining when the mood hits - chasing toys, investigating shadows, or doing a sneak-attack on a crinkly tunnel.
I'm also totally fine doing my own thing - I know how to enjoy my alone time and won't mind if you do too.
