About Dipstick
The little old man you've all been waiting for....
Meet Dipstick!
His name is a long story, but hear us out:
- He has a brown splotch on his back that looks like a teletubby.
- We thought we'd name him after a teletubby then: so our options were Laa-Laa, Po, Tinky-Winky, or Dipsy.
- The obvious answer was 'Po', but we've had a JRT called Po before.
- Dipsy it was, but we had to put a veterinary spin on it.
- Hence 'Dipstick' - yep, what we use to test urine!
Dipstick has already collected some nicknames, our favourite being 'Little Dipper' ❤️ 🌠
He's got a third nickname when we say 'Dipstick' too fast and it comes out wrong, but Little Dipper is FAR from that implication - he's a faultless little guy who has proven to be super outgoing, and is social with both cats and dogs. He's a small breed who is definitely mature - our best guess is 7 years old, but honestly he could be anywhere between 3 and 10! Breed-wise, we wouldn't be surprised if he was purebred Jack Russel terrier but we haven't performed a genetic test to confirm.
We've done the world a favour and castrated Dipstick straight on arrival, so he's currently healing from his surgery but should be ready and roaring to go in a week's time.
