About Pippa
🐾💖 Meet Pippa 💖🐾
This little pocket rocket is Pippa, a 5-month-old Cattle Dog cross with a heart of gold and a story that broke so many hearts.
Pippa and her siblings had a truly awful start. They were found dumped in a box at the pound, victims of suspected deliberate chemical burns down their backs. It’s a miracle these babies survived, but thanks to the amazing rangers and some local heroes, they made it to Village Tails on Easter Monday! 🐣
Pippa's foster carers fell head over heels for her. They even considered making her a permanent fixture, but their older dog (who just wants to nap in peace) wasn't quite up for chasey with a little energizer bunny. (Turns out, quiet retirement and puppy zoomies don't exactly mix 😅).
She is just a normal pup who is even respectful of the resident cat, but adoption has to be right for everyone and is the older dog isn't as enthusiastic about a playful pup it won't work. So, their loss is YOUR gain!
Despite everything she's been through, Pippa is a bundle of pure joy. She hops around like a little bunny and it's an absolute delight to watch her play.
She's discovering the fun of toys, running around, and just being a puppy. Sometimes she can freeze in scary situations like when she's been put in the car or when she's at the vets, but she's learning to trust again, one day at a time.
This girl is CHEEKY - Pippa loves a good game of chase, and let us tell you, she’s FAST!
Toilet training is coming along nicely, and she sleeps like an angel through the night. 😇
Pippa would thrive with:
A home with a confident, playful dog who can show her the ropes and bring her out of her shell would be awesome for her.
Or a family with kids who will shower her with love and attention.
Or maybe an active couple ready for hiking adventures and endless cuddles.
Shes a versatile little bunny :-)
Pippa is a work in progress, and needs a loving, patient family who will continue to help her blossom.
She's vaccinated, microchipped, and up-to-date on flea and worm treatments.
Her adoption fee of $625 includes her desexing at one of our partner vets when she's old enough.
🏡 Pippa is currently located in Belmont, near Brisbane.
