He is social and will develop a strong connection with his handler and like a lot of dogs of similar breed, he is easy to train, whether it be farm work, agility or an active lifestyle.

As Bear is a working breed dog, he is not suitable for a backyard and will need another active dog friend to play with.

Bear is looking for an active family that have some experience with working breed dogs.

He has high energy and will require some physical and mental exercise on a daily basis. Bear is very much a farm dog and needs humans who are happy to continue to engage in continued training.
He has that spark and a bit of sass that people who know and love working breeds tend to be drawn to and is growing up to be a fabulous dog.

He gets along with everyone and is good with other dogs of all shapes and sizes. In his foster home he lives with 2 kelpie friends who he has become good friends, and an old dog. He has been introduced to horses and is fine with them.

Bear is crate trained as well as house trained. He knows to sit, drop, wait, leave, centre and heal. He is a star pupil.
