About Robbie *On Trial*
*robbie is currently trialling his new home* this adorable little pup is robbie or “rob-dog” to his mates and he’s looking for a fun-loving forever home – will it be with you???
robbie is a healthy, happy normal pup who enjoys cuddles and attention. He has fitted in well with his foster carers own little dogs as well as having a ball with her 10 year old child who gave “rob-dog” his name! robbie interacts well with adults of all shapes and sizes and he doesn’t appear to chew or dig and is a good little watch dog but not in a yappy way. This cute little fella is an energetic, wriggly, bundle of joy who puts a smile on the face of everyone he meets!
as robbie is still a puppy he will require ongoing obedience training and socialisation with other dogs so he grows up to have lovely manners. While in care he will learn the basics such as “sit” and “down” and as he’s so food orientated and eager to learn it’s making training robbie a breeze! he’s also being shown how to walk on a lead as he doesn’t appear to have had much practice at this and his carer is working on his toilet training so he can enjoy being an inside doggie and a part of the household’s goings on. Robbie is quite low-maintenance, only requiring the occasional brush and wash to keep his coat in tip-top condition and the bonus is he hardly loses any hair. Daily walks or runs around the back yard, secure fencing, bones to chew on and toys to keep robbie stimulated will make him very happy indeed!
robbie would be best suited to an indoor / outdoor lifestyle with either a doggie companion to learn from or on his own if he won’t be left alone for long periods of time especially while he’s a pup.
